Welcome to Baseball-Stats.org

Welcome, and thanks for visiting Baseball-Stats.org. This site was created by, and made for, the fans of America's pastime, Major League Baseball. Within these pages you will find the statistics of our games players, teams, and coaches. Many baseball fans are "stats junkies", and this site is a resource for us.

Teams section up

It's a little rough around the edges but it's up and functioning. Again like the player stats we will return as time premits and polish it up. But in the mean time have a look.

Player section up

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the site. As of today the player section is up. We will continue to refine the section as time permits but why not take a break and check out the stats for my two all time favorite baseball players Ken Griffy Jr and Cal Ripken Jr funny how they are both Jr's :) I'll add one more so you guys don't think I'm some Jr weird-o how about "The Ignitor" Paul Molitor. Man all this talk about my favorite players has got me fired up for some baseball!

End of the Olympics...

Well, the Olympics ended today. Pretty interesting watch, good pre-spring training for the sports fan. It's nice having something on the TV that you can yell at and root for. Good job USA and Canada, didn't expect them to haul away so many golds. Well, enough of that, bring on the baseball!! :)

NY and Boston on top?

Take a look at the 2010 CBS MLB power rankings. Looks like this was posted about a week ago, the usual suspects at the top (Boston & NY). My Brewers are near the bottom, but I have seen them there before, yet still make for an interesting September. I'll be happy if we can send the Cubs packing when they visit Miller park. Spring Training

Spring Training is here! The final week of February marks the return of our favorite sport. No, it doesn't carry the excitement of a "down the stretch pennant run" but for many of us it signals the nearing end of winter and the excitement of our sport returning to the headlines of the local sports page. I live in Wisconsin and spring training reminds me that winter really does have an end.

Hello World :)

Hello, welcome to our site! Today we begin our transition. What was once a personal project for a group of stats guys becomes a resource to the public. We are currently moving our excel database to a more web friendly format so we can share with the world. Our ETA is a few weeks to get everything up and running. While were getting our ducks in a row feel free to dig around. For the next several weeks sections of the site may become inaccessible, while we work on getting everything working correctly. If you have any questions comments or concerns drop us a line by using our contact link at the bottom of each page.
